10th Planet Oakland Kids Win Gold and Silver at Jiu Jitsu World League Finals

10th Planet Oakland’s youth competitors delivered another strong performance at the Jiu Jitsu World League Finals, with Mason Choi, Caitlyn Choi and Violet Choi all reaching the podium.

Mason Choi and Caitlyn Choi each captured gold, while Violet Choi earned silver, bringing home three medals for 10th Planet Oakland’s kids competition team.

Competition provides young athletes with an opportunity to test the skills they develop in the academy, learn how to perform under pressure and gain valuable experience against competitors from other schools. Results are always exciting, but the confidence, discipline and resilience built throughout the process are just as important.

Mason, Caitlyn and Violet’s performances at the JJWL Finals are another example of the talented young athletes developing through 10th Planet Oakland’s no-gi youth program.
