10th Planet Oakland Wins JJWL Golden State Team Championship

10th Planet Oakland captured the team championship at the 2025 Jiu Jitsu World League Golden State, finishing the event as the #1 team.

The championship was a complete team effort, with athletes across the academy contributing to the final standings and bringing another team title back to Oakland.

The victory continued a strong 2025 competition season for 10th Planet Oakland, coming shortly after the academy also finished #1 at the ADCC San Jose Open.

For 10th Planet Oakland founder and head coach Michael Hillebrand, team championships are especially meaningful because they reflect the performance and development of an entire competition room rather than a single athlete.
