10th Planet Oakland Kids Coach Corbin Bilund Competes at ADCC Trials

10th Planet Oakland coach Corbin Bilund stepped onto one of no-gi grappling’s biggest qualifying stages, competing at the ADCC Trials and representing the academy against a deep field of competitors.

Corbin picked up a submission during his Trials run, with the action continuing all the way off the competition mats in typical ADCC fashion.

Beyond his own competition career, Corbin serves as the head of the kids program at 10th Planet Oakland, where he plays an important role in developing the academy’s next generation of grapplers.

10th Planet Oakland has made experienced, high-level coaching a priority throughout its youth program. The kids program is led by accomplished coaches who bring years of training, competition and coaching experience to the mat rather than treating youth classes as an afterthought.

Corbin’s own experience competing at events such as ADCC Trials is part of that philosophy. Our youth athletes are being taught by coaches who continue to train, compete and test their Jiu Jitsu at a high level, then bring those lessons and experiences back into the academy.
