Tony Plasencia Wins Double Gold and Absolute Title at Legacy Jiu Jitsu Championship

10th Planet Oakland’s Tony Plasencia delivered a standout performance at the Legacy Jiu Jitsu Championship, capturing double gold with victories in both his division and the absolute.

After winning his weight division, Plasencia continued into the open-weight bracket and claimed the Absolute Championship, earning two gold medals and the championship belt.

Tony’s performance also contributed to a bigger result for the academy, with 10th Planet Oakland finishing first in the Adult Team standings and bringing home the Legacy Jiu Jitsu Team Championship.

Winning an absolute division requires athletes to compete beyond the limits of their own weight class, making the double-gold performance an impressive individual accomplishment and an important contribution to the team’s overall victory.
